The Chargers weren’t the only ones to lose big.

A bettor squandered a massive $1.4 million stake after betting on San Diego before the Jaguars staged an epic comeback to beat Jacksonville 31-30, according to Action Network’s Darren Rovell.

The Chargers went into Saturday’s game as a 3.5-point favorite and had a big cushion at one point: a 27-0 first-half lead that seemed set to continue growing — especially since Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw three interceptions in the first quarter.

The unlucky player would have only had a net profit of $11,200 — 0.8 percent of total wages — if the Chargers had won. It is not known who originally placed the bet.

The Jaguars will face either the Chiefs or Bills next weekend, with their matchup being decided by the outcome of Sunday night’s Bengals-Ravens game.
