Katharine & David Foster’s Son Is Following in Their Musical Footsteps

David Fosterwho welcomed his son with his wife Catherine McPhee In February 2021, revealed whether he thinks the 22-month-old is destined for the music industry like his parents. After all, the musician and singer Nana has already shown a passion for drumming.

“Well, you know I’m trying to hold back a little bit, I don’t want to get too excited out there,” David shared in an exclusive interview on Jan. 14 with E! News during Live at Music Center: Concert Celebrating Jerry Moss. “But you’d think between Kate and I, we might have a kid who’s musical.”

While David notes that Renee “seems to be leaning toward drumming,” he doesn’t rush the child’s personal explorations with music.

“It’s a little early to tell,” he told E! News. “I hope he at least finds joy in music.”

And it seems safe to say that Renee is already finding happiness through tunes and beats. What does he like to listen to? David shared that the boy has his favorites.
