Veronica Bielik’s latest Instagram post hasn’t gone unnoticed by Cardinals fans.
Bielik, 29, who has been linked to former Arizona coach Kliff Kingsbury since 2020, posted cheeky snaps to Instagram on Sunday from Thailand, where Kingsbury, 43, has reportedly relocated. Shortly after the model’s post went live, NFL followers quickly flooded the comments section.
“How’s Kliff?!” one user wrote, while another wrote, “Can you ask Kliff if he’s planning on coming back?”
The Cardinals parted ways with Kingsbury last Monday after a 4-13 season. The former Texas Tech coach, who joined the organization in 2019, signed a multi-year extension with the team last March.
Over the weekend, Peter Schrager covered Fox Sports’ NFL pregame show how Kingsbury, 41, “bought a one-way ticket to Thailand” and told teams “he’s not interested in returning at the moment”.
“He’s being paid by the Arizona Cardinals for five years. This review takes place every two weeks. He will take his time if he wants to return to football. But at the moment he has told all the teams that he is not interested in returning at the moment,” Schrager said in Kingsbury on Saturday.
Although it remains to be seen what Kingsbury’s next move might be, Pro Football Talk on Sunday reported how the former manager’s “lack of interest in other jobs could jeopardize his takeover”.
However, the exact wording of Kingsbury’s contract is unclear.
As for the Cardinals, the team has former Saints coach Sean Payton on their radar.
